Birth Certificates:
Once all the details are obtained from the applicant – we will have a thorough search with the Corporation or Municipality. This will be done based on Applicants parents details and applicants birth date. We will first find out if the birth was registered or not. If the birth was registered then the birth certificate will be issued as per details available in the corporation office. If it is not there in the record or if it is not able to be traced – we will submit an affidavit from Parents or Relatives. Along with this we will submit residence proof of family members, school certificates and applicant passport or ration card.

Non Availability of Birth Certificates
Once all the details are obtained from the applicant – we will have a thorough search with the Corporation or Municipality. If the birth is not registered, the authorities will issue a Non Availability Certificate confirming that the birth was not registered with them. Documents that may be required for requesting Non availability of Birth certificates vary upon locations. Under normal circumstances, address proof at the time of birth, proof of residence of the applicant/applicants parents has to be submitted. Other proof such as Ration Card, Voter Identity card, Aadhar Card, property tax bills may also be required to be submitted as per officer’s request.

Death Certificates
The death certificates will be obtained form the Corporation or Municipality where the death took place. The time taken to complete the task is indicative. Marriage Certificates
The Marriage certificate can be obtained only in the event that the marriage is registered with the Sub registrar office. In case the marriage was not registered we will assist with the registration process. This will be done at the place of marriage or place of residence. A marriage certificate cannot be obtained as absentee where the marriage has already taken place and was not registered at that time that it happened. Both applicant and spouse physical presence is mandatory along with supporting documents.

Obtain Patta
An application has to be made to the Tahsildhar in the form of simple requisition. We also need to submit necessary details and relevant documents. It is issued in the name of owner or in the case of joint holdings, in the names of the joint owners. If required, the officer concerned may require the applicant to furnish details in a particular format and may also hold enquiry before granting the patta. A survey may also be made if so deemed fit.

Legal Heir Certificate
An application has to be made to the Tahsildhar in the form of simple requisition using the Legal Heir fom. The form has to have a court fee stamp affixed on it. We also need to submit necessary details and relevant documents. Wife or Husband or son or daughter or mother can apply for the Legal Heir Certificate. After an inquiry through Revenue inspector or VAO in the area where the deceased lived, Thasildhar will issue a legal heir certificate.

Encumbrance Certificate
Encumbrance certificate, popularly known as EC, is a certificate issued by sub-registrar of the area in which the property is located. All the details of any transaction on the property will be listed in it. It is important for you if you decide to buy the property, take out a loan against the property. Documents needed include Schedule of property as in the registered document along with document number, Name of the present owner. Some offices requests for the Xerox copy of the document.
